This rear spacer block is used to space the ball joint back up to the correct working position after a suspension lift over over 2.5" on a vitara/ X90. With no spacer fitted when using higher lifts the ball joint can reach its maximum travel limits and sometimes pop out!
 
This spacer is a CNC machined solid billet of aluminium for 100% safety and reliability, as this joint takes a lot of abuse with the forces of driving.
