These brackets are used when lifting your vitara, as when you lift it, the front driveshafts work at an angle they were not designed for and can cause damage to your CV joints.
 
These brackets help take away the strain on the front driveshafts.

These brackets drop the front diff by 2" so allowing the front driveshafts to work at a much better angle.

It will cause the Diff to sit at a new angle, so just make sure to top up with a little more oil.
